Terms of Use — QR Generator

Effective date: 2026-06-07 Last updated: 2026-06-07

These terms cover your use of QR Generator, an iOS and iPadOS application produced by Halley Software, based in Portugal. By downloading, installing, or using the app you agree to these terms.

1. What QR Generator is

QR Generator is an iPhone and iPad app for generating and scanning QR codes. It runs entirely on your device and is provided as a utility. It works offline and does not require an account.

2. Eligibility and acceptable use

QR Generator is a general-audience app. You agree not to:

3. Pro Unlock — one-time purchase

Pro Unlock is an optional one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks QR Generator's Pro features.

4. Payments and refunds

All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. Halley Software does not see your payment method, full name, Apple ID, or any financial information — we receive only a signed receipt from Apple confirming the purchase.

Refund requests go through Apple: https://support.apple.com/HT204084. Refund eligibility is governed by Apple's terms, not by Halley Software.

5. Intellectual property

QR Generator — its code, design, and original content — is owned by Halley Software.

"QR Code" is a registered trademark of Denso Wave Incorporated. QR Generator is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Denso Wave.

6. Termination

You may stop using QR Generator at any time by deleting the app. A one-time Pro Unlock purchase remains tied to your Apple ID and can be restored later. Halley Software may terminate or suspend access for abuse or violations of these terms, with reasonable notice where practicable.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

QR Generator is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. To the extent allowed by law, Halley Software's total liability arising from your use of QR Generator is limited to the amount you paid for the app (the one-time purchase price, if any).

This does not limit liability that cannot be excluded under Portuguese or EU consumer law (e.g., statutory rights of consumers).

8. Governing law, changes, and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Disputes fall under the competent courts of Portugal, without prejudice to any protective rights you may have under the consumer law of your country of residence.

Changes to these terms will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, a short notice on this page.
