Terms of Use — Pokédex TV App

These terms cover your use of Pokédex TV App, a tvOS application produced by Halley Software, based in Portugal. By downloading, installing, or using the app you agree to these terms.
1. What Pokédex TV App is
Pokédex TV App is an Apple TV (tvOS) app for browsing Pokémon reference information — stats, types, abilities, and evolutions — on the big screen. It runs entirely on your device and is provided for reference and entertainment. It is an unofficial, fan-made app (see section 5).
2. Eligibility and acceptable use
Pokédex TV App is a general-audience app. You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except as permitted by Portuguese or EU law
- Attempt to bypass the in-app purchase or unlock paid features by illegitimate means
3. Pokédex Premium — one-time purchase
Pokédex Premium is an optional one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks the Type Calculator, Compare, and Quiz features.
- Price: US $4.99 (regional pricing may differ; the price shown in the App Store at purchase is authoritative)
- It is not a subscription — there is no recurring charge, no auto-renewal, and no free trial.
- Because it is non-consumable, you can restore it at no extra cost on any Apple TV signed in with the same Apple ID, using "Restore Purchases" in the app.
4. Payments and refunds
All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. Halley Software does not see your payment method, full name, Apple ID, or any financial information — we receive only a signed receipt from Apple confirming the purchase.
Refund requests go through Apple: https://support.apple.com/HT204084. Refund eligibility is governed by Apple's terms, not by Halley Software.
5. Intellectual property
Pokémon and Pokémon character names are trademarks of Nintendo, Creatures Inc., and GAME FREAK inc. Pokédex TV App is an unofficial, fan-made app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Creatures Inc., or GAME FREAK inc.
Pokémon reference data is sourced from the open PokéAPI project. The Pokédex TV App itself — its code, design, and original content — is owned by Halley Software.
6. Termination
You may stop using Pokédex TV App at any time by deleting the app. A one-time Premium purchase remains tied to your Apple ID and can be restored later. Halley Software may terminate or suspend access for abuse or violations of these terms, with reasonable notice where practicable.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Pokédex TV App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. To the extent allowed by law, Halley Software's total liability arising from your use of Pokédex TV App is limited to the amount you paid for the app (the one-time purchase price, if any).
This does not limit liability that cannot be excluded under Portuguese or EU consumer law (e.g., statutory rights of consumers).
8. Governing law, changes, and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Disputes fall under the competent courts of Portugal, without prejudice to any protective rights you may have under the consumer law of your country of residence.
Changes to these terms will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, a short notice on this page.
